Stan Jeffery MD

	Background and experience
	He is currently a candidate for Doctor of Technology at Deakin University, Australia and he has more than eighteen years' senior management experience and international exposure in high technology-related areas.
	Currently he is Director of the Ballarat Technology Park in Victoria. This park is the home to two IBM operations and a number of other IT companies. He is a director of Information City Victoria part of a worldwide Information City Group.
	Concurrently as MD of the company Integrated Company Growth Services ICGS is providing the Malaysian Venture Capital (MAVCAP) with a training program for the entrepreneur through out the nation. This program selected by competitive tender has been an outstanding success.
	He has spent almost two years as CEO of a Malaysian company called Optixlab in KL. This started as RM 500 M investment fund with an associated incubator. He was Director and chairman of a number of Malaysian start up companies. He was an active member of the Malaysian Venture Capital Association
	Prior to joining OptixLab, he was the founding Director of the Australian Technology Park Business Incubator and International Business Centre. During his tenure at the Australian Technology Park, he helped establish start-up technology companies in the areas of multimedia systems, Advanced Internet systems, e-Commerce and telecommunications systems. 65 companies with 85% success rate.
	Over the past five years he has consulted and advised on technology park establishment in NSW Orange and Canberra and Victoria Docklands and Geelong and UK Alfreton.
	In addition to establishing start-up companies, he also has more than nine years experience in research, product, market and sales development with Toshiba and Wang labs in the areas of software design and development, operating systems, development in wireless and optical fibre -based systems, pen-based PC systems and multimedia systems.
	Prior to this he was group division Manager in the design and development area for the largest Telecom carrier company in Australia.
	In the UK he was the design engineer at with ICL at Manchester University working on the northern universities super computer system

	Establishment of education / training guidelines, including programs and assessment of participants
	Writing and presentation of development programs for leaders
